Things to Do at Wild Horse Pass While Social Distancing

At Wild Horse Pass, we’re taking the precautions necessary to keep our visitors and community safe. That’s why we’ve put together a list of places you can visit and activities you can do while following our health and safety guidelines.

Explore the Outdoors

Temperatures are beginning to drop in Arizona, which makes it the perfect opportunity to take in some of that fresh Sonoran Desert air.

Visit the KOLI Equestrian Center for a memorable horseback riding experience along scenic desert trails you cannot get anywhere else. Reservations are required and team members are practicing social and physical distancing, sanitizing all office surfaces, helmets, saddles, tack, and restrooms. Even the horses stay 6 feet apart too!

Do you prefer clubs instead of saddles? Hit the greens at Whirlwind Golf Club. You can book your tee time online and the team has implemented several proactive safety measures which include careful cleaning of common touch points throughout the facility, as well as encouraging guests to walk the course and touch as little as possible.

See the road blur by at Radford Racing School. As usual, reservations are required, but the Radford team has taken additional steps to ensure the continued safety and well-being of visitors. They sanitize/disinfect all hand-contact surfaces around the facility and have implemented “GREEN MEANS CLEAN” cards/signage viewable in each of these areas to let students and guests know these spaces have recently been sanitized and disinfected. Vehicles and driving equipment are sanitized and disinfected multiple times each day.

Enjoy A Meal

Build up an appetite? No problem! Stop by the Phoenix Premium Outlets food court or Fatburger at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass for a quick bite. You can also make a reservation Kai for a grand fine dining experience.

Indulge A Little

Get your shopping on at the Phoenix Premium Outlets for a treat yourself moment that will take your mind off of the cares of the day. The outdoor shopping center has implemented employee screening and social distancing measures to ensure your safety and an enjoyable shopping experience.

You can also melt away your stress at the Aji Spa. The relaxing and individualized service the spa has always delivered now has the added peace of mind of staggered appointments to limit the number of guests and allow for thorough cleaning and sanitization. Face masks are required at all times by guests and staff, except while customers are receiving facials.

Take In An Event

One aspect of life that we have missed is the ability to attend live events. Luckily, Wild Horse Pass has two venues, Rawhide Western Town & Event Center and Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park that are committed to providing entertainment while also taking their guests’ and associates’ safety as their highest priority. Both venues have worked diligently on added cleaning, sanitation, and physical distancing. So much so, that both venues have been independently certified by HealthyVerify.

Rawhide is on the forefront of new concert experiences, hosting drive-in concerts and pod concerts where you can dance like you used to in your very own 8-by-10-foot pod that is 6 feet away from the next pod. At the Motorsports Park, racing continues with events such as Friday Night Drags & Club Day taking place with a mandatory mask policy and physical distancing enforced. To learn more about what each venue has to offer and their upcoming events, visit Rawhide.com and RaceWildHorse.com.

Stay A While

If you’re hoping to get away from it all for a bit, Wild Horse Pass offers a wonderful array of options following COVID-19 safety guidelines. Both the Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass and Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass are welcoming guests with enhanced safety protocols like mask requirements and daily temperature checks for employees.
